Game Summary

Leslieville takes game to new Heights.

The Brickies of Leslieville have cruised along the past couple years with relative ease. However, one team that is never an easy matchup are the Cliffside Heights. This one would be another tightly contested affair. Marcus Belardi versus Jeff Snow is just excellent Burby to watch.

You know the two aces were going to deliver. And it just so happens the two relievers also had very good games. Luciano Perna got the start and he completed 4 stand out innings on the mound.  His only blemish was a bases loaded blast he gave up to Jeff Snow. I’m sure he’ll want that pitch back as for whatever reason he decided to lob it in to the home run King. Jeff crushed his 6th dinger of the year and the 4–0 score would stand till the seventh inning.

Andrew Fuller started for the Brickies and he always puts in a Yeomans type outing. Two more scoreless innings for the young veteran which keeps his ERA at 0.00.

Jeff Snow on the mound was his usual self until the seventh inning, Where he allowed two men on base and then gave up a short porch blast over the outstretched arm of Golombek to make the game really close. But 4–3 is as close as the Heights could  get. What a great game and both teams held their head up high.

Leslieville would win their record 23rd game in a row dating back to 2023. The last time they lost was at 12-0 Pounding at the hands of the Cliffside Heights. The Brickies will now face another formidable foe in the Beach Dusters while Cliffside Heights will get looking to be back on track against the Lansdowne launch anglers.
