Anglers Launch themselves into the second round! 

It was the 6 seed Anglers visiting the 3 seed Dusters in the first game of playoffs on Saturday morning

Mike and Kevin would start the game on the hill, with Mike throwing 2 shutout innings before heading to the airport for his honeymoon. Leaving was bringing the heat and winning most of his long battles. The anglers got a rally going in the top of the third, working some long walks before Chris singled home a run. 

Chris would take the mound in the bottom half and go to work, mixing all of his pitches and picking the edges of the zones, supported by strong defence, to speed through some quick innings. The dusters didn't go down easy, threatening in the 6th and even getting the bases loaded with no outs in the 7th, but Chris closed it out with a high fastball for a K and a sweeping slider to get a pop-up to end the game. 1-0 Anglers was the final.
