These teams split their season series 1-1.  Junction come into this one having lost 5 straight and the Railcats come in hot off their season ending combined no hitter win over the Vipers with Dan Long in the lineup. A game where they were also missing their big bat in Robert Irvine. Steven Parsons looks to be back to normal after a so so return from suspension.
One thing is for sure in this one………one of these teams will walk away with their first playoff victory.

At one point during this season many were wondering if Don Valley would even win a game this year while the Storm have rocketed to the top of the standings in their expansion year.
The loss of Sparkles is a sizeable blow to the Storms chances but as the saying goes……Pitching wins championships and Cedarbrae without a doubt has the advantage in this categorie.

Conspiracy theories started as soon as the final pitch between the Vipers and Railcats as many wondered whether the Vipers had thrown their match against the Railcats to get the Warriors first round but those in the know say it was the burby gods who decided that match with winds that killed hits all day.

Regardless, we now may have the start of a rivalry here and this will be a tightly played game.
